Fixes, changes and new features
Versions 1.020-1.022 were just fixes for login and other issues so no need to address these here.
If you want to know what has been fixed etc. in these or any other updates you can find the change
log in the “updates.htm” file in the “upd” subfolder inside the Product Manager’s program folder.
Version 1.023 has been updated to include the new (introduced 2022-07-12) “Editorial License”
under Licenses on the main product list. This license type will have the acronym “ED”, as shown
here:
At the time of writing this there are only two products in the DAZ store with this type of license:
87311 Cyber Racer
86476 Retro Apartment Props 2
If you have upgraded to 1.023 and you don’t have any of these product yet all is fine, you dont need
to do anything. Products you purchase in the future having an “ED” license will, as with the other
existing license types, have this license applied automatically under License when you download
these products’ library data.
If however you already have purchased any of these products and have downloaded library data for
them with version 1.022 or earlier, the “ED” license will be missing under Licenses:
If you only have the “ED” license for these products, Data Check will therefore keep popping up
saying that you have products with incomplete data (License field empty), also after upgrading to
1.023. If you also have other licenses attached to them and showing in the License field, this won’t
happen however, so you won’t notice the missing “ED” license unless you check their license status.
To fix the missing “ED” license, you must delete and re-download Library Data for these products. To
do this, click the link below and follow the instructions in the video:
